Making a Donation of Goods

McAuley Community Services for Women relies heavily on the generosity of volunteers and donors to practically support the services for women and their children.

There is an ongoing need for non-perishable food, new clothing and toiletries for women and their accompanying children experiencing family violence who often escape with just the clothes on their backs.

Making a Financial Donation

Financial donations to assist with the purchase of these items and to help us to broaden our support for vulnerable women and their children can be made by cheque, payable to McAuley Community Services for Women and sent to:

McAuley Services for Women
67 Cade Way, Parkville VIC 3052

A tax deductible receipt for all donations will be forwarded to the donor on request. Please include a return address with your donation so a receipt can be issued.

Key areas of expenditure for funds donated include:
• Women's and children's sleepwear and underwear
• Provision of toiletries for women and children
• Nappies
• Children's toys and clothing
• Food

Workplace Giving

Workplace Giving is a simple yet powerful way for your employees to assist McAuley Community Services for Women in delivering services to homeless women and to women and their children escaping family violence, through dollars received via regular payroll deductions.

Once established, Workplace Giving both assists McAuley Community Services for Women and your organization, providing a low cost and low maintenance way to support the community.

How it works
Workplace Giving donations are deducted from an employees' salary before tax is applied, thus reducing taxable income. Furthermore, because donations are made pre-tax, it only costs each employee 52 cents for every dollar they pledge*.
The Australian Taxation Office pays the balance.

* based on a marginal tax rate of 48.5%
